Damián Montes Nieto has announced in an Instagram video that he is finally leaving the priesthood: “I have decided to withdraw from the exercise of priestly ministry.” He was a Redemptorist and ordained to the priesthood in 2013 at the Santuario del Perpetuo Socorro in Granada, Spain. He prefers to keep private the “serious reasons” that turned his ministry into a “very sad and very difficult” experience. Looking to the future, he hopes for “the opportunity for a new life, shared with someone, or to start my own family.” He has taken up employment within an educational community and has assumed the role of Academic Vice Director at an international institution. Montes was "born a poet and an artist.” As a missionary priest, Montes had the opportunity to visit countries such as India, Honduras, Thailand, and Colombia, as well as various cities in Spain and Italy. Radical Pro-Homosex Priest Montes was one of the most openly homosex-affirming Catholic priests in Spain. In a 2021 …Ossotina
Popes used to avoid accepting secular prizes and awards. Leo XIV will accept/receive the 2026 Liberty Medal from the internationally unknown National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. They honour his support for religious liberty and freedom of conscience, and human dignity - all of them non-Catholic ideological frameworks. The award will be presented on July 3, ahead of the 250th anniversary of American independence. The Pope is expected to accept the medal virtually from the Vatican. The National Constitution Center describes itself as a nonpartisan institution dedicated to constitutional education. However, it is part of the American establishment civic ecosystem and often hosts former presidents, senior government officials, judges, military leaders, and foreign-policy figures.
The Vatican has rejected – on paper only – a request from the German Bishops' Conference to permit lay people to preach during the Eucharist by means of an "indult." A June 17 letter, written by Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, was published on Dbk.de. The German bishops' proposal sought permission to allow lay employees, in the usual exceptional circumstances, to deliver a "homiletic reflection" following the Gospel during the Eucharist. In his reply, Cardinal Roche claims with canon law that the homily is an integral part of the liturgy [only since Pius X] and is reserved to a priest or deacon. He stresses that the reservation of the homily to clergy is not merely a disciplinary norm and does not depend on theological competence or communication skills. Cardinal Roche disputes the claim that current pastoral circumstances require an exception. Where a priest is present to celebrate the Eucharist, he is also present to preach. Where no priest is …Ossotina
Vatican Case Against SilereNonPossum Closed: The case against SilereNonPossum.com has reportedly ended, with the Vatican courts ruling they lacked jurisdiction. The complaint was filed by politician and businessman Angelo Chiorazzo over a 2023 Facebook post that described him as having “more criminal proceedings than hairs on his head.” The Vatican courts dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds, without ruling on the defamation claim itself.
Sinking Titanic Back at the Vatican: "We are human beings, not techno-robots," Leo XIV told the children of the Vatican summer camp today, encouraging them to limit screen time, pray, cultivate real friendships, and avoid becoming dependent on technology. The scene featured the Pope addressing hundreds of children beneath a giant inflatable sinking Titanic. The plastic 'bouncy castle' in the shape of the Titanic has been in use for several years.
TITANIC again: Today's 2026 meeting between Pope Leo XIV and the children of Estate Ragazzi in Vaticano
Using a tragedy to entertain children, I find that immoral, imagine making a slide with the 2 gutted twin towers of the world trade center or a ride representing the atomic bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Damian Thompson interprets on 0The Spectator (June 23) the Francis' pontificate through the theory of charismatic authority. Francis emerges as a Peronist-style ruler who cultivated ambiguity, governed through unpredictability, weakened institutions, protected loyal allies, and increasingly centralised power around himself. Main quotes. - “The theology of the Bergoglio pontificate has a curiously schizophrenic quality.” - “… previously magisterial Catholic teaching on difficult topics such as divorce and homosexuality was somehow negotiable”. - “…intentional imprecision of language, a tendency to caricature critics rather than engage with their arguments,…” - “…his willingness to contradict himself. One moment he was inviting the LGBT lobby to the Vatican; the next, he was using Roman slang to mock homosexuals.” - “He compared abortionists to paid assassins; he also allowed pro-abortion Catholic politicians to receive Holy Communion and appointed ‘pro-choice’ academics to …Ossotina

Faithful Family Leaves Eucharist during Folk Dance: Yesterday, Bree Solstad shared a video on social media showing a man performing what appears to be an Irish or Scottish folk dance in front of the altar during the Eucharistic liturgy. During the dance, one family can be seen genuflecting and leaving the church. According to Solstad, the video was recorded on June 21, though she does not disclose the name of the parish. Solstad is a former pornography producer who announced in 2024 that she had left the adult industry and converted to the Church.
Bree Solstad on X: "This happened during the Mass yesterday. Note the one family that bent the knee to Christ and got the heck out of there. "
When the novelty wears off, it'll be something else. Bishop Fulton Sheen once tapped repeatedly on a table and said 'you can hear this now but soon you will not hear it'.
Today, Pope Leo XIV visited the 'UN World Food Programme' headquarters in Rome. On June 20, Leo XIV has appointed Rev Elímar Gerardo Carvajal Durán, 50, as Bishop of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Strong Synodal Profile By September 2022, Rev. Carvajal had assumed a leading role in coordinating the Diocese of Alajuela's Diocesan Synodal Process. In a September 28, 2022 talk on the Youtube channel of the Diocese of Alajuela, Monsignor Carvajal uses all of the Francis’ buzzwords such as "the synodal Church", "the reality is always before the idea", “listening to the cries of people”, etc. His Language Speaks Volumes In a September 5, 2023 video, Monsignor Carvajal said that discernment and synodality …Ossotina
He needs to affirm the Creeds, Councils and Cathechisms in the original. He does not do this. This is a canonical issue. With Vatican Council II rational we can affirm the Council and Tradition. But the bishop, with Vatican Council II irrational cannot affirm both. A bishop who cannot affirm de fide teachings in Tradition which are not contradicted by Vatican Council II, cannot hold his office. It is obligatory, morally and canonically for the bishop to affirm Vatican Council I I only rationally ( LG 16 inviible.)

I once heard a Priest say that GOD will show a preview of our life to our Guardian Angel. I think it was Father Ripperger. So not sure if he knows what he is talking about. It's up to the Angel whether he wants to accept us or not. I believe it has to do with free will. If it's true I can't wait to see this wonderful Angel who accepted me after seeing part of my life. I can't wait to see him to thank him. I thank him now and I also thank GOD for giving me such a beautiful and power Angel that he is. He is amazing!
