Attempted assassination of Saint Pope John Paul II On 13 May 1981, in St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, Pope John Paul II was shot and wounded by Mehmet Ali Ağca while he was entering the square. The Pope was struck twice and suffered severe blood loss. Ağca was apprehended immediately and later sentenced to life in prison by an Italian court. The Pope forgave Ağca for the assassination attempt. He was pardoned by Italian president Carlo Azeglio Ciampi at the Pope's request and was deported to Turkey in June 2000. On 13 May, Ağca was sitting in the square, writing postcards and waiting for the Pope to arrive. When the Pope passed through a crowd of supporters, Ağca fired four shots at 17:17 with a 9mmBrowning Hi-Powersemi-automatic pistol, and seriously wounded him. He fled the scene as the crowd was in shock and disposed of the pistol by throwing it under a truck, but was grabbed by Vatican security chief Camillo Cibin, a nun, and several spectators who prevented him from …More

1815 illustration of a group of Christian slaves in Algiers by British artist Walter Croker. Wikimedia Commons, Walker Croker,PD Old So much of the Left’s justification for various social justice programs relies on its ability to erase and rewrite history. In one area, this problem is particularly acute: slavery reparations. A recent story out of the U.K. highlights this problem in the most ironic way. According to GB News, the Green Party’s Global Majority Greens chief “reparations officer” — yes, they have one of those — is not only the child of a billionaire but a direct descendant of prolific slave traders. Antoinette Fernandez, who is originally from Nigeria and is currently running for office, has reportedly campaigned on the idea that British subjects should pay for the injustice of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The far-Left Green Party has been making huge gains in the U.K., so the reparations idea is a bit more “serious” than it used to be. Fernandez wrote in January…
"The Gospel of Jesus Christ is an end in itself," Bishop Erik Varden of Trondheim, Norway, told OsvNews.com on 11 May during a trip to the USA. "Any attempt to instrumentalise the Gospel for a subsidiary purpose, whether cultural, ideological or political, is suspect." He warned against "any attempt to brandish Christianity void of the message and presence of the Wounded and Risen One". And: "Any presentation of Christianity that abstracts the scandal of the Cross, or that uses the Cross perversely as a weapon with which to strike others, is veering towards heresy or even blasphemy." However, the main focus of the interview is psychology, not religion. Some of his main points are: - absolutizing our own experience - immersed in my own experience - the drama of my existence - learn to live with my wound - being wounded is the human norm - a remembrance of healing - living enclosed in ourselves - shut myself off - a new way of being human - a human life is a drawn-out affair Picture: …More

Matthew 28:16-20 “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” God has the power of love, joy, and peace. And this is within us and within humanity. *Africa and Canada Calendar St. Matthias Acts 1:15-17, 20-26 “The lot fell upon Matthias, and he was counted with the eleven apostles.” The mission of the Lord Jesus Christ continues on earth in the depths of our hearts and for all humanity. May 12, 2026Download PDF Story at-a-glance A 2026 scientific review concludes vaping is likely to cause lung and oral cancer, shifting the conversation from uncertainty to clear concern The damage from vaping starts at the cellular level, where DNA injury, oxidative stress and inflammation build long before symptoms appear E-cigarette aerosol contains a mix of cancer-linked chemicals, including nitrosamines, toxic gases and metals released from the device itself Using both cigarettes and vaping products at the same time dramatically increases your lung cancer risk instead of reducing harm Eliminating vaping exposure, improving metabolic health and using exercise to break nicotine dependence directly lowers your risk and helps your body recover For years, vaping was marketed as the cleaner alternative, a way to keep the ritual of smoking without the tar, the smell, or the serious health consequences. That framing is collapsing. A growing body of research now points in the opposite …

Archbishop Alexander Sample of Portland, Oregon, has renewed a 2018 directive requiring the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel to be recited after Eucharists across the Archdiocese. The instruction was included in a May 12 pastoral letter published on ArchdPdx.org The prayer should be said “after the conclusion of every Mass celebrated in the archdiocese,” describing it as part of a spiritual response to challenges facing the Church. The “Mission Renewal” initiative includes consecration of the archdiocese to the Sacred Heart, novenas, Eucharistic processions, fasting and penance, and works of mercy. Explaining the reason for the prayer, Archbishop Sample wrote that “Satan seeks to divide, disrupt and interfere,” adding that united prayer against “the enemy” is crucial for renewal efforts. #newsIchjizaoee
One of the best and greatest Bishops that the Church has in the United States today. Thank God for His Excellency, Archbishop Sample. A phenomenal, faithful and holy Shepherd.
Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts of ’s-Hertogenbosch says he was silenced on the spot (“gecanceld”) after questioning the ideology of a self-described inclusive parish. Writing on his blog on April 29, Monsignor Mutsaerts recounted celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation at a parish with a rainbow flag outside the church. Before the entrance procession began, the bishop asked one of the boys preparing for Confirmation what he thought of the flag. The teenager shrugged and replied that he would rather have seen a PSV football flag hanging there. After the Eucharist, parishioners told Mutsaerts that they considered themselves an “LGBTQ church” and a “Rainbow Church.” During conversations afterward at the coffee table, the bishop began questioning what such churches mean when they describe themselves as “inclusive.” Monsignor Mutsaerts argued that every church necessarily has boundaries because every church teaches truths about morality, human nature, and faith. In his view, the …More

A serious case of vandalism was reported a few minutes ago at the La Ermita chapel in Cali.
Discouragement is the deep spiritual valley of our age. For Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the Holy Spirit’s light came only at dawn in a long dark night of the soul.
[St. Bernard of Clairvaux – XI-XII Century AD; born: Burgundy, Kingdom of France/died: Clairvaux, Kingdom of France; (aged 62-63); Abbot; Mystic; Leader; co-founder of the Knights Templar; Last of the Fathers; Doctor Mellifluus] Chapter VII. Of love toward God not without reward: and how the hunger of man's heart cannot be satisfied with earthly things And now let us consider what profit we shall have from loving God. Even though our knowledge of this is imperfect, still that is better than to ignore it altogether. I have already said (when it was a question of wherefore and in what manner God should be loved) that there was a double reason constraining us: His right and our advantage. Having written as best I can, though unworthily, of God's right to be loved. I have still to treat of the recompense which that love brings. For although God would be loved without respect of reward, yet He wills not to leave love unrewarded. True charity cannot be left destitute, even though she is …More
"On a lower plane of action, it is the reluctant, not the eager, whom we urge by promises of reward. Who would think of paying a man to do what he was yearning to do already? For instance no one would hire a hungry man to eat, or a thirsty man to drink, or a mother to nurse her own child. Who would think of bribing a farmer to dress his own vineyard, or to dig about his orchard, or to rebuild his house? So, all the more, one who loves God truly asks no other recompense than God Himself; for if he should demand anything else it would be the prize that he loved and not God."

Dr. Pierre Kory exposes a massive media anomaly. He reveals that over 100,000 articles were published globally about Hantavirus in a few days. He confirms this massive coordination is entirely unnatural. Why is a minor outbreak suddenly consuming the global media cycle?
Two things about Dr.Z 1. He was a promoter of the Noahide laws. 2. He was a promoter of fake virus science. 3. I would call Dr.Z controlled Zionist opposition.
He was an amazing person and doctor.....who helped many many people survive the covid panic... and he also never neglected to give God the praise for all he was able to do....a real miracle man!
