On 17 May, Tucho Fernández published guidelines on alleged supernatural phenomena entitled "Norms for proceeding in the discernment of alleged supernatural phenomena."
The main change: Neither the local bishop nor the Vatican will declare that phenomena are of supernatural origin, but the Vatican can authorise the local bishop to declare that a phenomenon is "not supernatural".
There is no provision in these norms for ecclesiastical superiors to give positive recognition to the divine origin of alleged supernatural phenomena, the regulations state.
The second major change is the centralisation of the process, since Francis is the pope of Roman centralism. The local bishop's decisions must be given approval by the Vatican.
The document refers to cases in the 20th century where the local bishop declared a phenomenon to be supernatural, and the Vatican later issued a decision to the contrary. In other cases, a bishop said one thing and his successor said the opposite about the same phenomenon. …More

On the last day of Parish Priests for the Synod—an international meeting of parish priests at the Vatican—Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, SJ, encouraged participants “to become ambassadors of synodality, to be full participants in a synodal Church, to become with all the people of God, missionary disciples of Jesus.”
“Many times their training and their reality have been oriented towards a Tridentine model of the priesthood,” Cardinal Hollerich, the relator-general of the synod on synodality, said of parish priests, in an address to Pope Francis in the presence of participants. “And now they see that the identity they had for centuries is crumbling, and sometimes this identity is lost ... and there is the danger of wanting to build a new identity based on the experience of the past.”
“The identity of priests and parish priests (even bishops) is given to us by the Holy Spirit when we walk with the people,” he continued. “Then the sacraments are no longer the expression of a ritualism in …More

Vatican message to Buddhists: “The noble teachings of our respective traditions, and the exemplary lives lived by those whom we revere, bear witness to the abundant benefits of reconciliation and resilience,” wrote the prefect and secretary of the dicastery. “Reconciliation and resilience unite to form a potent synergy that heals past wounds, forges strong bonds, and makes it possible to meet life’s challenges with fortitude and optimism.”

The Vatican's Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, headed by Cardinal Miguel Ayuso Guixot, sent a message on 6 May to Buddhists celebrating 'Vesak', a festival commemorating Buddha's birth, enlightenment and passing [i.e.: descent into hell].
The message expresses the belief that Christians and Buddhists can work together to promote peace, reconciliation and resilience, "values deeply rooted in our respective religious traditions". In real life, there is no way to peace without Christ, the Prince of Peace.
It even speaks of the "noble teachings of our respective traditions" and believes that "the rituals and worship appropriate to our respective religious traditions" promote reconciliation and resilience.
In reality, Buddhist ideas are wrong and their rituals are demon worship, while the Vatican fights against "the rituals and worship" according to the Roman Rite, which originated with Christ and the apostles.
The message quotes Paul VI, Desmond Tutu, Buddha, St Paul and St Francis (…More

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, who postponed his trip to Rome two weeks ago in the midst of the ongoing war on Gaza, took possession of Sant'Onofrio's, his titular church in Rome, on 1 May.
This church is home to the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. It was packed. In his homily, the Cardinal said that people could not wait for the US to resolve the war in Gaza:
"These are difficult moments, but they are also moments of hope, because perhaps something is moving in the current negotiations, hopefully. We must never give up. In any case, the situation remains very dramatic, serious and difficult. In addition to the military problems, which exist and are serious, there is the humanitarian problem in Gaza."

A female clown danced in front of the Eucharistic table in the cathedral of Speyer, Germany, to celebrate or caricature a "Day of the Deaconess". The show was officially described as a "divine service".
The Imperial Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St Stephen in Speyer dates from the 11th century and is the world's largest surviving Romanesque church and building.
The clown show was led by six women and a female clown and was organised by [former] Catholic associations in Germany, several [former] Catholic women's associations and the Central Committee of German "Catholics" (ZdK), a powerful lay body and leading promoter of decadence in the German Church.

Until last year, Cardinal John Njue, the retired archbishop of Nairobi, Kenya, was known to have been born in 1944.
Since the day and month of his birth are not known, he would have lost his right to participate in a conclave on 31 December 2024.
But in Francis' Church things change. According to the latest papal yearbook (Annuario Pontificio), Nuje's new birth year is 1946. No reason has been given for this mysterious change.
Another prelate who had his year of birth changed, but not in his favour, was Cardinal Henryk Gulbinowicz (+2020), the Archbishop of Breslau. Until February 2005 his birth year was 1928.
Gulbinowicz then declared that he was born in 1923, saying that his parents had changed his year of birth to prevent him being drafted into the war.

Bishop Stephan Ackermann of Trier, Germany, presided over an "ecumenical" homosexual service in his cathedral on 17 April.
The performance was advertised as part of the annual diocesan celebration of the Holy Tunic of Christ. About 50 elderly people attended. A large homosex flag was laid down in front of the unused Novus Ordo table.
The event was like a conference with various speeches interspersed with some songs (e.g. 'True Colours' by homosexual activist Cyndi Lauper, 1986). A scripture reading was delivered by a presumed transvestite.
Bishop Ackermann claimed that the homosexual propagandists, who are among the sacred cows of the German regime, would experience "hatred" and "violence" because of their sexual disorder ("identity", "orientation").
Mgr Ackermann attacked the Church by calling his homosexual propaganda show a "commitment", saying that "we want to be a diocese that values diversity", including "sexual and gender diversity".

Michael Hichborn of Lepanto Institute warns that the Catholic Church has turned a blind eye to the ‘industrialization’ of what used to be volunteer-run Catholic charities. Instead of being run by nuns and friars, as in the past, today, he notes, Catholic NGOs, including hospitals, are run by non-Catholics, often administrators, doctors and social workers, with agendas of their own that often contradict Catholic teaching. He cites a ‘Catholic’ NGO program in Lesotho and other African nations, that seeks to discuss masturbation and other ‘safe sex’ practices with minors as young as ten, and that promotes abortion as well as contraception. We discuss the fact that Catholic NGOs can offer tax deductions, and also receive government contracts and execute government agendas, without disclosure to the IRS. This allows billions of dollars to flow from unidentified and government sources through Catholic hospitals and charities - creating a situation ripe for money laundering. We also discussed …More

José Maria Bonnemain, the Spanish-born Opus Dei bishop of Chur, will be the only Swiss bishop to attend the funeral of his predecessor Vitus Huonder at the Pius X seminary in Ecône, Switzerland.
Bonnemain said on 16 April that he would not participate actively in the liturgy [because, as a Novus Ordo presider, he is not able to celebrate the Roman Rite]. He regretted that Huonder, who promoted Bonnemain, wanted to live and be buried in the Priestly Society of St Pius X.
He explained that his attitude was the same as at the tomb of any other person: "It is not for me to judge their life and work. Only God knows our motives and intentions".
Mgr Bonnemain sees no connection between the "irregular" canonical status of the Priestly Society of St Pius X and the "old wounds and tensions" in the Diocese of Chur. "It is high time that we put them behind us and take a step towards each other," he pretended, while in his diocese he is only looking after the anti-Catholic party.

Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni confirmed on April 13 that the Secretariat of State has sent a note to the French Embassy to the Holy See regarding the recent conviction of Cardinal Marc Ouellet in France.
According to the note, the Holy See learned from the press of the decision of the court of Lorient in a civil case concerning the dismissal of Sister Marie Ferréol (Sabine de la Valette) from the Dominican Sisters of Pontcallec who are about to change from the Roman Rite to the Novus Ordo.
Ouellet was ordered to pay Sister Marie more than 180.000€, but allegedly never received any writ of summons from the court.
He had conducted an apostolic visitation of the Sisters of Pontcallec in the name of Francis. At the end of this visitation, Sister Marie was dismissed from the community.

Cardinal Raymond Burke told "Fede & Cultura" (2 April, video below) that there is "corruption in the Church". He mentions worshipping Pachamama in St Peter's during the Amazon Synod, or monstrous "art" shows in churches.
Faced with such phenomena, Burke feels "frustration" and a "sense of bewilderment". For him, the solution is "to remain even more with Christ in the Church - to fight".
The Cardinal said that the Holy Mass [as opposed to the Novus Ordo Eucharist] has been an extraordinary blessing for the Church for fifteen and more centuries, but now its celebration becomes more and more difficult "because of the new legislation in this matter".
In visiting different parts of the world, Cardinal Burke has seen that Holy Mass continues to attract many people. The numbers of the faithful are getting bigger and bigger: "They are congregations of people of all ages, but what is very impressive is the number of young families with many children, and also young people who are not yet married …More

Cardinal Robert Sarah, one of the leading cardinals in terms of intelligence and integrity, praised the bishops of Cameroon for their "courageous and prophetic" 21 December statement against Francis' homosexual pseudo-blessings.
"You have done a work of pastoral charity by pointing out the truth," he said. The cardinal is currently visiting Cameroon, where he gave a programmatic speech on 9 April at the Episcopal Conference headquarters in Mvolyé, published on Diakonos.be.
It is "wrong and ridiculous" for "some people in the West" [including Francis] to claim that the Cameroonian bishops acted in the name of some "cultural particularism", Sarah clarified. They have claimed, "in a logic of intellectual neo-colonialism", that Africans are "not yet" ready to "bless" sin "for cultural reasons", he said: "As if the West had a head start over backward Africans."
In reality, the bishops in Africa are acting "in the name of the one Lord, the one faith of the Church", Sarah explained: "Since when …More

Several sources have confirmed to Polish media that Archbishop Marek Jedraszewski, current archbishop of Krakow in Poland and one of the most important sees in the country, and appointed in 2016, will retire in July of this year, THE MONTH IN WHICH HE WILL SUBMIT THE RESIGNATION BY AGE. The archbishop will become another victim of Francis by retiring without having any extension, and without having been created a cardinal. Gloria.tv readers should keep in mind that the good archbishop is known inside and outside Poland for defending Catholic doctrine, with his opposition to sodomy, or his defense of life and the fight against abortion in his country; as well as for denouncing the anti-Catholic drift of the German Church. The award? Not be a cardinal and retire without extension.
The new archbishop of Krakow could be the progressive and homosexual Rys, archbishop of Lodz and created cardinal the previous year.
