Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś said that the Polish wording of the Good Friday prayer for Jews had been changed 2022 because the previous text was 'so dramatically untrue'. He spoke about the Novus Ordo and not the prayer in the old liturgy. The Cardinal made these remarks during a January press conference held to present the 29th annual Day of Judaism in the Catholic Church in Poland on 15 January. Military veterans aged 65 face being mobilised under new powers to prepare the Armed Forces for war. The Government is set to increase the age at which the nation’s pool of retired soldiers, known as the strategic reserve, can be called upon from 55 to 65. The new measures are being introduced as part of a new Armed Forces bill, which will be published in Parliament later.
