Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster, London, has banned the celebration of the Easter Triduum in his archdiocese, reports NcRegister.com (27 February).
Nichols admits that he is "disappointing some people" with this authoritarian decision, but he wants to keep an alleged "wider picture" in mind.
It's the first time since the 1990s that the Easter Triduum will not be celebrated in the Diocese of Westminster.
Cardinal Nichols had allowed the Roman Easter Mass to be celebrated in previous years.
Liturgical abuses, heresies and the undermining of the Catholic faith are still permitted and even welcomed in Nichols' Novus Ordo diocese.

When your boos is a cruel anti-Catholic, you're not off the hook when you obey his cruel, anti-Catholic orders. Be a man, Cardinal Nichols tell Francis to buzz off, and let the chips fall where they may. You are 78 years old; die as a Catholic and not as a coward...unless you have already ceased to be a Catholic.

Peace through Unity! Unity through conformity. Conformity through obedience. Obedience through trust. You trust, don't you? Don't you?

The Traditional Triduum are the most impressive, holy, God-honoring,life changing liturgies of the year. This cancellation is a crime.

@Louis IX The Pre-1955, definitely. The post-55, far less so.

The LGBT brigade have never had an Easter Triduum in Westminster. They only have Masses on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at Farm St Jesuit church. And as I have mentioned elsewhere, the group is largely elderly and numerically very small. They couldn't even muster the numbers to have an 'LGBT' Mass every Sunday. As for 'blessings', I doubt if there will be many, if any. The 'blessings' scandal …More

As for 'blessings', I doubt if there will be many, if any. The 'blessings' scandal after having a 'civil partnership/marriage' has been going on for decades in Westminster and other parts of the UK preceding Fiducia Supplicans. Being as the numbers of those involved are miniscule, I should think everyone who was going to be 'blessed' has already had it done ages ago.

Sod him. Just go to the SSPX.

@sarto2010 Depending on where you live in or around London, and taking into account the problems with public transport on Sundays and Bank Holidays (i.e. Easter), getting to an SSPX chapel is not always as easy as it sounds.

Let’s see how many sodomy “blessings” His Eminence, Vincent Cardinal Nichols, allows Priests to perform in his Archdiocese during the Easter Triduum. Let’s see how many sodomy “blessings” His Eminence, Vincent Cardinal Nichols, allows Priests to perform in his Archdiocese during the Easter Triduum. How many times unclean degenerates are going to be allowed to blaspheme all that is holy, with his approval and the active participation of his Archdiocesan Priests. That a Prince of Holy Mother Church would love vile abomination more than the ancient Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Roman Rite, the Mass that created and nourished countless Saints, Martyrs and Doctors of the Church in the Faith, is an unspeakable tragedy beyond comprehension. May God, in His unfathomable mercies, come quickly to deliver His Church from the evil clutches of wicked men who seek her obliteration.

Meanwhile with permission from his Bishop a priests in Uruguay can show up to a "wedding" and Bless a same sex couple. But the TLM has to be hammered to death in the Church. Rome is very very rigid when it comes to to allowing the mass our Grandparents experienced.
Wilma Lopez
All of this is by direct order of Rome- both the Uruguay blessing and the TLM bans

We need to pray very hard for this awful Pope and the weak bishops, like Cardinal Nichols who blindly follow his diabolical lead.
