Several German Catholic dioceses have told De.CatholicNewsAgency.com on July 21 that they have no plans to expand the celebration of the Mass in the Roman rite. The dioceses that replied included the three "conservative" German dioceses Passau, Regensburg, and Cologne and the pro-homosexual Archdiocese of Hamburg. Passau and Cologne offered only brief responses, confirming that no expansion of the Traditional Latin Mass is currently planned. Regensburg Diocese, where the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) operates a seminary, provided a more detailed explanation of its position: "A sufficient number of opportunities to celebrate Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite is an important pastoral response to the sometimes aggressive missionary activity of the Society of St. Pius X and its supporters," diocesan spokesman Stefan Groß said. He added that the FSSPX continues to refuse full communion with the Pope, particularly regarding its understanding of religious freedom …More

Vance Praises Francis as "Genius": In a recent interview with Bishop Robert Barron, U.S. Vice President JD Vance praised Pope Francis, saying: "I always liked the way Pope Francis would make bold statements in the media because it forced people to talk about them. Sometimes he would say things that made me think, 'Wait a second, is that consistent or correct?'" However, the politician concluded that Francis had "forced a dialogue, and he was kind of a genius at that".

source: Grand Inquisitor — Inquisition; Substack “Who is Edgar Rimaycuna, the personal secretary and right-hand man of Leo XIV? (Excerpt from the article "Sodom in the Vatican" by Rodrigo Simón Rey, Cope, May 14, 2025) Edgar Rimaycuna is just 36 years old and is already the Pope’s Personal Secretary. He is a Peruvian priest, born in Chiclayo — the diocese where Robert Prevost served as bishop for a decade. It was in Chiclayo that he met Prevost in 2016. Edgar, who at the time was a 16 or 17 year-old seminarian, never left the side of “Father Roberto,” whom he regarded as a spiritual father and, over the years, a friend. The Pope began working with Edgar when he was appointed Bishop of Chiclayo. The Peruvian priest became his trusted right-hand man until 2023, when Prevost was made a cardinal and Pope Francis brought him to the Vatican as Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops. The words Edgar addressed to him upon his departure say a great deal about their bond: “Thank you very much, …More

Most people know her for one thing: banana ketchup. It's on tables across the Philippines. It's bottled by big companies now. And it exists because a chemist in the 1930s looked at expensive imported tomato ketchup, noticed tomatoes wouldn't grow well in the Philippine climate, and simply built a better answer out of a fruit that grew everywhere. That was Maria Ylagan Orosa. The ketchup is real, and it's hers. It is also the least interesting thing about her. Maria was born on November 29, 1893, in Taal, in Batangas province on the island of Luzon, one of seven children. She grew up inside history. As a small child she lived through the Philippine Revolution and then the Philippine-American War, during which her own father used his ship to move Filipino soldiers and supplies between the islands. She was a girl watching her father risk everything for the idea that the Philippines should feed and govern itself. That idea became the whole shape of her life. In 1916, at 23, she sailed for …More

It wasn't you to post the picture anyhow Pierre. It's how it came out from FOX! Who has the same picture in the article. So indecent or not. It's not your fault. And it was out of your hands.

Virgin Mary Statue Survives Earthquake: A statue of the Virgin Mary remained unharmed after a 5.1-magnitude earthquake devastated the 16th-century Santiago Apóstol Parish church in Chupaca on the night of July 18. The quake caused the church's roof, façade, and altars to collapse, but the Marian statue was found intact amid the rubble. "A large part of the church nave has collapsed", Father Henry Díaz told Rotafono, adding: "The high altar collapsed into the rubble. The statue of the Virgin remains intact."
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Peru's Junín region on July 18, killing at least five people, injuring more than 20, and causing widespread damage. The historic Santiago Apóstol Parish in Chongos Bajo was among the hardest hit, with its roof, façade, and centuries-old altars collapsing. Father Henry Díaz said much of the church nave gave way, deep cracks spread through the walls, and the bell tower is now dangerously unstable. Amid the destruction, however, a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary remained standing untouched, which Father Díaz described as a powerful sign of hope. Peru's Catholic bishops have offered prayers and are appealing for support to restore the historic parish.
