Catholic during the Great Apostasy

Alone among the people – that’s how today’s society can be described in a nutshell. Smartphones have become our god and our whole life. Not phones, because it’s not the conversations that are important now, but writing, commenting, adding photos and counting “likes.” Today’s church that goes along with the world also recognizes this new god:

Now it is tourist season, so you can observe the behavior of people from different countries. The normal sight in a car is the driver and next to him a person busy with his phone. I’ve even stopped being surprised that cyclists can stand at the edge of the road busy with their phones. This is such a human god now. The real world no longer exists, most live in a world created by the media and social networks.

The truth has become something very distant, but still objectionable. The biggest pack of lies is not met with the same reaction as writing the truth. Attack, often combined with hatred, not supported by any arguments. The world we have created does not tolerate the truth about itself. A realistic example, perhaps a little funny, but very reflective of life under hypocrisy is comparing someone in real life to photos on social networks. Unfortunately, people think that these tainted photos are really them, although someone looking from the sidelines sometimes doesn’t even see a hint of resemblance. Double world, double life – which has a huge impact on the psyche. Unconscious in the real world, immersed in illusion, they can leave their children and family for this imaginary world.

Scientists say there has been an apparent decline in intelligence in people since the mid-1970s. It is interesting that this coincides with the expansion of modernism in the Church. Everything constant has been replaced by variability depending only on human desires and sins. Moral principles were replaced with permission for all depravity.

Man expelled the true God from his soul and a void remained – and at its worst Satan settled there. Seeing the deviation and heresies spreading around, and the accumulation of carnal sins, which is, after all, the “calling card” of today’s modernist church, people are leaving for a world that offers them a life of lies, but with a nice facade.

How illusory this world is, unfortunately, turns out only when troubles and even small obstacles appear in real life. Suddenly it turns out that you are alone, without any support in anyone, and if rejection in the virtual world is added, it brings a person to the brink of suicide – as can be attested to by statistics showing a steady increase in suicide attempts.

Who to turn to when family ties have been broken, generational solidarity – in the name of freedom, equality and fraternity. Slogans and slogans behind which there is nothing – emptiness . The image of God has been so distorted that it is very far from the truth. If there is any image at all, it resembles a conglomeration of one’s own imaginations, desires and wishes – it has literally nothing to do with the truth.

Endless psychotherapies and “happiness” pills cannot fill this void. They only work temporarily. No medical analysis will reveal the real cause of apathy , depression, loss of meaning in life. Of course, it is better to get medical help than to go to some charismatic sect or modernist church confirming sins .

But everything that seems so hopeless and difficult to us is sometimes very simple to solve . People are able to endure a lot of pain to heal their bodies, but the soul is neglected, they are not willing to sacrifice anything for its healing. The soul is inseparable from God. If you deprive it of His presence it becomes like a rudderless boat vulnerable to the slightest gust of wind. The world gives ready-made solutions to the problem, which often end up even worse. You immerse yourself in “meditations” sitting motionless for hours waiting for some “nirvana”, but you are unwilling or unable to lock yourself in a room and sincerely pray – to fill the void with God. You don’t want to do an examination of conscience and invite the rightful owner – throwing out all the lies.

After all, no one is telling you to stop your treatments and inform others about it. In silence, a short prayer will do more than the doctors of the whole world. You need a conversation. Read Catholic teachings – but the true unadulterated ones – such as those of us . You don’t need to read what we have to say – just the teachings from impeccable Catholic books. What is needed is for you to unmake the image of God in your soul.
Talk to God in the silence of prayer. You can grieve, cry, but also gain strength to continue fighting the world. Your beloved Savior will never leave you – but you must stand in truth. You must surrender to His will . Humble yourself, promise to reject sin and follow Him. And the Mother of God will be by your side. That’s all it takes.
In solitude you will do this, but you will stop being alone forever. Step by step you will fill the empty dwelling in your soul with faith, which will give you the hope and love of the Most High God. No one rushes you , you don’t have to hurry. A few minutes of prayer at the beginning will lead to miracles you have never experienced.
All you need is a sincere desire to know God , and then life will become a prayer. You will learn the advantage of the simplest rosary prayer. You can ride the bus , train or cook dinner – any moment is good for the Our Father and Hail Mary . No one hears, no one sees. Just God and you. The power of faith that inspires you, over time, will surpass all the medicines of this world.

Man suffers from loneliness being in a world full of people, because he has rejected the most precious treasure. He resents the church administration, the clergy – and therefore the people – while rejecting God . After all, the true Church is where Revelation, where Tradition and the Gospel are. It is in our souls on the rock of our faith.

And it is with this kind of prayer in silence and solitude that you will build the truest Church of Christ in your soul, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it! And even less so depression.

The peace and serenity you will find in God will survive all the storms and turmoils of life. Just this much – in solitude and silence surrender to His will .

It is so little, and for many so much – an insurmountable barrier. And God is waiting ….
