The Holy Father will dedicate the temple of the Holy Family and will visit the charity work of the Christ Child .
Pope Benedict XVI will arrive in Barcelona from Santiago of Compostela on Saturday, November 6. The next day he will dedicate the church and the altar of the Holy Family, and pray the Angelus on the facade of the Nativity.
After lunch with the Bishops Archdiocese, the Holy Father will visit the Christ Child Institute, a beneficent work of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart dedicated to the care of young people with Down syndrome and other disabilities. Then, Benedict XVI will return to Rome.

21.00 pm. Arrival of the Pope to the airport of The Prat, proceeding from Santiago of Compostela
21:45 pm. Arrival to the Archbishopric, where the Pope will spend the night.
On Sunday, the 7thof November
09:15 am. Move in Papamovil to the temple of the Holy Family.
10:00 am. Holy Mass. At the beginning of the Mass, the Cardinal Archbishop of Barcelona will declare a few words of greeting to the Holy Father.
12:00 am. Prayer of the Angelus on the Nativity facade, of the Holy Family.
13:00 pm.Archbishopric Lunch with the episcopate and the papal retinue.
17:15 pm.Visit to the Christ Child Institute.
18:30 pm. Official farewell ceremony at the airport of The Prat.
19:15 pm.Departure to Rome.
20:55 Arrival at Rome airport.
