Juillet, 81, was director of intelligence at the DGSE (Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure) before being appointed senior official in charge of economic intelligence for Prime Minister François Fillon until 2009. He is one of the founders of the Grande Loge de l'Alliance maçonnique française, of which he is the first Grand Master. A firm purpose of amendment requires action to change one's circumstances so the sinning stops - as in walk away from sinful relationships - permanently!
