Prayer for the Pope
O Lord, we are the millions of believers, humbly kneeling at Thy feet and begging Thee to preserve, defend and save the Sovereign Pontiff for many years. He is the Father of the great fellowship of souls and our Father as well. On this day, as on every other day, he is praying for us also, and is offering unto Thee with holy fervor the sacred Victim of love and peace.
Wherefore, O Lord, turn Thyself toward us with eyes of pity; for we are now, as it were, forgetful of ourselves, and are praying above all for him. Do Thou unite our prayers with his and receive them into the bosom of Thine infinite mercy, as a sweet savor of active and fruitful charity, whereby the children are united in the Church to their Father. All that he asks of Thee this day, we too ask it of Thee in unison with him.

Whether he weeps or rejoices, whether he hopes or offers himself as a victim of charity for his people, we desire to be united with him; nay more, we desire that the cry of our hearts should be made one with his. Of Thy great mercy grant, O Lord, that not one of us may be far from his mind and his heart in the hour that he prays and offers unto Thee the Sacrifice of Thy blessed Son. At the moment when our venerable High Priest, holding in His hands the very Body of Jesus Christ, shall say to the people over the Chalice of benediction these words: "The peace of the Lord be with you always," grant, O Lord, that Thy sweet peace may come down upon our hearts and upon all the nations with new and manifest power. Amen.

Prayer for the Pope
Christ Jesus, King and Lord of the Church, in your presence I renew my unconditional loyalty to your Vicar on earth, the Pope. In him you have chosen to show us the safe and sure path that we must follow in the midst of confusion, uneasiness, and unrest. I firmly believe that through him you govern, teach and sanctify us; with him as our shepherd, we form the true Church: one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.
Grant me the grace to love, live and spread faithfully our Holy Father’s teachings. Watch over his life, enlighten his mind, strengthen his spirit, defend him from calumny and evil. Calm the erosive winds of infidelity and disobedience. Hear our prayer and keep your Church united around him, firm in its belief and action, that it may truly be the instrument of your redemption. Amen.

Hoje é sábado de Aleluia. É um dia de silêncio. Devemos mergulhar neste grande mistério de amor em que Deus Pai dá Seu Filho Único para nos redimir, nos dá a Salvação! Neste dia, devemos sentir este Amor infinito: Jesus-verdadeiro Deus e verdadeiro-homem morre em nosso lugar. Preparemo-nos para a noite celebrarmos com júbilo a Mãe de todas a Vigílias: a vitória da vida sobre o pecado e a morte.

Nous-mêmes dvdenise ? Qui donc est ce fameux "nous-mêmes" ?

Galates 1, 6 -9 Je m`étonne que vous vous détourniez si promptement de celui qui vous a appelés par la grâce de Christ, pour passer à un autre Évangile. Non pas qu`il y ait un autre Évangile, mais il y a des gens qui vous troublent, et qui veulent renverser l`Évangile de Christ. Mais, quand nous-mêmes, quand un ange du ciel annoncerait un autre Évangile que celui que nous vous avons prêché, qu`il soit anathème! Nous l`avons dit précédemment, et je le répète à cette heure: si quelqu`un vous annonce un autre Évangile que celui que vous avez reçu, qu`il soit anathème!
