The Bishop of Nottingham, Monsignor Patrick McKinney, issued a 40-page document entitled "Precious in My Sight" (below) in May, banning Catholic schools in his diocese from promoting homosexual propaganda ("gay pride").
The new guidelines also crack down on the promotion of gender ideology. Teachers are told not to celebrate homosexual sins in June because "we cannot celebrate lifestyles that are incompatible with Church teaching".
Monsignor McKinney explains that "approving only part of could be seen as dishonest and lead to confusion. We must instead seek to articulate those values and principles with which we can agree and affirm Catholic teaching in a different, distinct and pastorally positive way".
The policy also prohibits children who suffer from gender insecurity from using a self-chosen pronoun, name, uniform, access to changing rooms, showers and toilets.

The World, of which the divine Scriptures speak with horror, is not the Universe, the elements, the earth, nor a civil society of people in the different states and conditions that meet there. It is not of this world of which the Son of God assures that he is not, nor his Disciples; but it is the world which lives according to sensuality, pride and curiosity: it is of this world of which the Holy Spirit declares to us in the first Epistle of Saint John, that everything that is found there is , or lust of the flesh, or lust of the eyes, or pride of life; that which does not come from the Father, says the holy Evangelist, because the corrupt inclinations of the body and the soul which lead us to use things improperly, do not come from God; it is sin that is the cause.
By these three concupiscences the beloved Disciple understands the three sources of all sins, which according to the doctrine of the Saints, are the pleasures of the senses, the desire for honors, and the curiosity for …More

Born in Florence in 1515, St. Philip dedicated himself to serving the Lord, guided by a mystical experience that led him to Rome at the age of eighteen.
In Rome, St. Philip's zeal for evangelization and his deep prayer life set him apart. He reached out to people from all walks of life, sharing the love of God and challenging them to live lives of virtue. Despite the challenges and corruptions within the Church during his time, St. Philip remained steadfast, founding the Congregation of the Oratory and earning the title "Apostle of Rome."

Eucharistic Miracle in Walldurn, Germany (1330)
One of the most complete documents about the Eucharistic miracle is told of the Eucharistic miracle of Walldürn Germany in the year 1330 and was written by the Monk Hoffius in 1589. During the Mass, a priest accidentally overturned the Sacred Species of the consecrated Wine onto the corporal. The Sacred Blood formed an Image of the Crucified Christ on the corporal. The relic of the corporal with the Blood is preserved today, placed on the side altar in the minor basilica of Saint George in Walldürn. Every year, several thousands of pilgrims visit Walldürn to venerate the sacred relic.

Priest in Rome. Elected 53rd pope in 523. Italy‘s ruler, Theodoric the Goth, was an Arian, and for a while he let Catholics alone, but in later life he became suspicious of everyone, imagining conspiracies and attempts to seize his throne. He tried to involve Pope John in his political machinations. John led a delegation to Constantinople to negotiate with Emperor Justin I; he was the first pope to travel to Constantinople, and while there crowned Justin. The mission was successful, but Theodoric thought John and Justin I had …More

The Holy Spirit passes in hearts and between people. The Church is moving when its members become fervent. The Church is growing and the Holy Spirit is helping to multiply its members. John writes in his first letter:
“Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.” 1 John, chapter 3, verse 18
What seems most difficult in the mission is to mention what is needed at the appropriate time or for the appropriate activity, meeting. It is about being in the best disposition of ourselves and knowing the one we’re talking about, in truth. Are we really talking about God?
Even though sometimes the deeds and words are not always in accord with the Gospels, since we are not perfect, let’s continue to improve our relationship with people. And if we succeed, may we remember that we have done only what we could.

Francis appeared at Rome's Olympic Stadium on Saturday to kick off a football match as part of the Vatican's celebration of "World Children's Day".
The cameras of Vatican television CTV couldn't hide the fact that many of the seats in the stadium were empty (screenshots below). Despite this, Francis appeared to be in good spirits.
The centrepiece of the event was a four-metre high "Cross of Joy". Its producer, Mimmo Paladino, said it mixed Christian culture and fairy tales (sic).
Earlier in the day, Francis held an audience at the Vatican with children from war-torn regions, including Palestine and Ukraine. He joked around and donned a baseball cap given to him by the children.
In his message for Children's Day, he wrote that "everything that is not new will pass away. God is newness. The Lord always gives us something new".
It is to be feared that the children may have applied this statement to their desire to buy a new mobile phone.

This riveting account by a survivor of adolescent sexual abuse first appeared in the Catholic League Journal, Catalyst, in April 2020. It is republished with permission at Beyond These Stone Walls.
As an adolescent victim of homosexual clergy abuse, I know the challenges that men face in coming forward. Many of us are silenced in shame after being abused. Aggravating the recovery process is that, despite the evidence, there is an ongoing agenda to cover up the homosexual nature of the abuse crisis, disenfranchising more than 80% of us victims.
Recovery is difficult enough without predatory advocacy groups and their lawyers trolling us for profit and politics. The added torment of being told the problem isn’t related to homosexuality only compounds our pain. For this reason, I am grateful to the Catholic League for giving me the opportunity to relay the difficulties facing victims of homosexual abuse in particular, with all due respect and recognition of the grief suffered by victims who …More
